Why PSA Nitrogen Generation? It’s all about you, your company, and your success.
ON Site PSA Nitrogen Generation is not for every laser shop but it may be for yours. If you have one laser machine that is using N2 cutting assist for more then 15 hours a week you need to become informed about this technology. If you are doing more then that number of hours of N2 cutting, you need to get serious about it. If you purge the beam delivery path of your machine(s) with N2 you definitely need to get informed now. We have worked with companies that have single machines and those with more machines then most would want to deal with. We have many cutting assist gas and purge gas systems installed and every one is a success.
Ask yourself, why would we pay someone for the elements that are free for the taking? You don’t need to, you can own the equipment and generate your own N2, and do it for less then you are paying for it.
We can provide you with information that will give you an understanding of how these systems work, and how your peers are using them successfully. Not that you should worry but if you are paying $1 per 100cf of nitrogen and the shop that you are competing with is making N2 for $0.15 per 100cf, all other things being equal who will be more successful?
A shop running a laser system cutting 24/7 using N2 cutting assist gas average flow rate of 900cfh with 70% beam on time will consume 630scfh or 15,120cf per day. The average cost bulk gas + rent being $1ccf. The monthly cost would be about $4500 a month. Add to that beam delivery purge gas at 200cfh that adds $1400 per month. Some machines may consume as much as twice that volume. These numbers are excluding evaporation loss and any other charges such as; service charges, transportation tax, energy sir charges, and delivery charges.
The cost to purchase the equipment and produce the same volume could be less then half of that. For the first five years if you choose to lease with a dollar buy out for 5 years you would improve your profits and cash flow by $25,000 to $35,000 per year. After 5 years you can still make N2 for only the cost of operating the equipment and improve your profits further. You don’t have to keep paying for the same equipment forever. What an idea!

The substance it self, it's sucked from the atmosphere into air-separation units. The equipment, as the name indicates, extracts nitrogen, oxygen and argon from the air. Said Airgas vice president Tom Thoman: "God gives us the raw material for free".
Imagine if you didn’t have to pay for the metal you use, wow!
